Rob Powdrill Gets WKN Kickboxing World Title Shot

Australian star Rob Powdrill is fighting French prominent kickboxer Francis Tavares for the WKN super middleweight world title on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Cap d’Agde, France.

Rob Powdrill, 27, is a Perth-based athlete who currently holds the WKN Australia national title. His record indicates 35 wins out of 44 fights, including 14 knockouts.

Prior the clash with Tavares, Powdrill has two fights booked in Perth, WA. On Saturday, January 21, 2012 he is taking on American Ashe Bowman in the MMA contest at Bragging Rights. On March 3, 2012 he is fighting Kim Olsen at Domination 8 muaythai fight show.
