Henriques Zowa takes on Nathan Corbett for the WKN muaythai heavyweight world title in the main event of Total Carnage 4 on Saturday, December 14, 2013 on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Henriques Zowa (32-7-2, 12 KOs) is an Angolan-Dutch fighter. He competes in boxing, kickboxing and muaythai. He is fighting out of Simson Gym under the patronage of a former champion Rayen Simson.

During his career Zowa beat some of the famous names such as Errol Zimmerman, Ismael Londt and Danyo Ilunga. He went on distance with Gokhan Saki and Andrei Stoica.

Zowa is strong, skilled and capable enough to issue a hard challenge for Corbett.

For Corbett this his third title defense with the victories over Sokolowski and Susperregui, after originally earning the belt in a tough fight with Pavel Zhuravlev.

“He [Zowa] has this hunger in his eyes,” says promoter of the event Ed Zouroudis.

The programme at Total Carnage 4 fight night includes a series of local and interstate bouts. Mark Lucchiari Nick Allen, Hen Redden and Iggy McGowen are among those featuring on the card.
