Osman Yigin defeats Eliasz Jankowski in his retirement fight on Sunday, November 24, 2013 in Charleroi, Belgium.

Legendary Osman Yigin of Belgium and a former world kickboxing champion Eliasz Jankowski of Poland headlined the Nuit Des Titans fight show. The lightweight muaythai bout went on distance. After three rounds of action the verdict from judges proclaimed a unanimous decision in the favor of the man they call “La Legende de la Boxe Thai”, Osman Yigin.

Osman Yigin retires at the age of 42 having a complete of 200 bouts behind his belt. He is a former 16-time world champion and 29-time champion of Europe. During his outstanding career he has once fought in front of 85 thousands spectaculars. He competed under all sanctioning bodies existing at the time of his prominence, such as WKA, WMTA, WKN, ISKA, IKBF and WAKO.

Among everyone Yigin fought Jaid Seddak, Rachid Elherdmi, champion of Raja Yassin, Gilbert Ballantine, Patrick Erickson, Abel El Quandilli, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky, Nordine El Ottmani, Fabrice Alllouche, Noel Van Den Heuvel, Singphayboune, Anukun, Nungmon, Satoshi Kobayashi, Hisayuki Kanazawa, Giogio Percca, Tarik El Idrissi, Ivan Menes, Richard Kostuck, Wannai Pongpila, Yaucat Guendi, Boulem Belaini, Peter Clay de chez Hyppolyte, Rholek, Chiai Vincent, Pinsinchai, Denis Koepke, Andei Kotsur, Thomas Seiler… The list is long.

In 1998 Yigin opened Osman Gym in Charleroi, Belgium. His renowned “Built to Win” team consists of prominent athletes including Allan Gozdzicki and Lello Perego. Both compete for prestigious WKN kickboxing international, European and world titles.

Osman Yigin is also the World Kickboxing Network representative in Belgium and international coordinator for Turkey.
