Nathan Carnage Corbett TKOs Zowa & Defends WKN Title


Nathan Corbett defeats Henriques Zowa and defends his WKN muaythai heavyweight world title on Saturday, December 14, 2013 on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Nathan Corbett of Australia and Henriques Zowa of Netherlands headlined the Total Carnage 4 fight night. The show was held at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The scheduled for five rounds bout ended int he second. Corbett landed his trademark uppercut elbow leaving his Dutch vis-a-vis with the broken nose. As a result the contest was terminated due to injury declaring the local favorite as the winner by TKO in Round 2.

For Corbett it was the third title defense after his victories over Sokolowski and Susperregui, and the original title win over Pavel Zhuravlev.

Also on the night Ghot Seur Noi earned a unanimous judges decision over Michael “Tomahawk” Thompson. Seur Nou became a new WKN muaythai lightweight champion of the world.
