WKN Kickboxing Delivers 20 Simply The Best Years

The major kickboxing governing body, World Kickboxing Network (WKN) celebrates this year its 20th anniversary.

The WKN Hall Of Fame clip includes historical and archive photographs and graphics starting in 1994 till present. It shares some of the very first WKN kickboxing champions such as Cezary Podraza as well as the heros of today such as Nathan “Carnage” Corbett. Numerous celebrities such as Chuck Norris, Diego Maradona, Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes feature on the reel.

The video includes the WKN founders, directors, promoters, partners, champions, fighters and those involved. Stephane Cabrera, Olivier Muller, Billy Murray, Carl Emery, Jean-Christophe Courreges, Jean Philippe Lystuk, Steve Smoger, Eric Carlton, Paulo Magalhaes, Ernesto Hoost, Marvin Hugler, Mike Tyson, Don Turner, Don King, Gary Hamilton, Samir Mohammed, Parviz Iskenderov, Sinisa Kovacic, Farid Khider, Andrei Kulebin, Tyrone Spong, Sundsakorn, Jerome Le Banner, Jorge Acero Cali, Lubo Simeonov are just a few names to remind.

Several special slides with the WKN championship belts show some of the very first designs, original belts that were presented by Don King at Lebanner vs Espedito fight, and also the modern belts such as presented by Sylvester Stallone at Fight Night Saint-Tropez.

The clip demonstrates the WKN branches such as Valetudo in Brazil and the Bigger’s Better Boxing TV show on Eurosport. It also includes the WKN fighting styles Full Contact, Kickboxing and Muay Thai.

WKN is a leader in kick boxing sports for over 20 years. Created in 1994 it runs and develops the sport internationally being the largest sanctioning body in the world.
