Rob Powdrill, muaythai boxer from Perth, WA proves his words with actions one more time.

Rob Powdrill scores the 10 seconds knockout victory over Olympian Damien Hooper last night in Brisbane. “Powerdrill” took the fight on a week notice. Hooper’s original opponent pulled out.

Two days before the fight I’ve asked Rob how he was gonna do two fights in two weekends. The following Saturday he headlines Nemesis Fight Show facing off Daniel Kerr of New Zealand.

“That’s the plan,” he answered. “As long as I don’t get knocked out this weekend, I’ll be sweet for the next weekend.”

To clarify I’ve asked “who was going to get knocked out?”

“Not me,” Powdrill responded smiling.

Powdrill proved it in 10 seconds. He landed the right over hand that dropped Hooper. As a result Rob Powdrill causes a sensational upset of the current era of Australian boxing as well as adds the WBC boxing EuroAsia title to his collection.
