Patrick Talbot, promoter of Nemesis Fight Shows shares his view on Muay Thai scene in Western Australia.

On Saturday May 23, 2015 Patrick Talbot and Bill Seth present Nemesis 10 at Kingsway Stadium in Madeley, WA. Austalian Mitchell Seth takes on Alexi Petroulias of Greece for the WKN lightweight intercontinental title.

“I have been involved in promoting since the 2nd Nemesis show. It has always been just a hobby for me as my main occupation is running the family Engineering business.”

“I think that’s what sets Nemesis apart from all the other shows. I’d hands down rather put on a spectacular show with all the bells and whistles and make minimal profit than skint on areas and make a few extra dollars.”

“I’m not in it for the money.”

I like providing opportunities and rewarding hard working fighters from Perth in a sport that takes so much commitment to compete in plus providing great entertainment for our crowds. Be it with a title shot or a headlining fight with an interstate or international opponent.”

“Don’t get me wrong this isn’t a charity, Bill & I are very business minded and there is a certain amount of investment in building our brand and name but we require the support of our fighters’ gyms, sponsors and the Perth crowds like all shows.”

“We have developed a Nemesis Team consisting of sub-contractors, friends & family who all work hard to ensure that our shows are the best in Perth.”

“And you will see all this at Nemesis 10.”

“Our main card consists of 6 x 5 round fights that could easily all be main events on most shows.”

“With a well-supported undercard of Perth’s up n comers this show will leave you hanging for next one in October.”

“We have Australian UFC prodigy Jake Matthews coming to check out our show and see how we do it over here.”

“As well as using our success to help others in need. The past shows we have donated 6 x large tents to the WA Little Athletics Corporation to help protect the young competitors from exposure to the sun and raised $10,000 for a young boy with Cerebral Palsy in aiding his treatment and equipment.”

“This show we are selling 500 x Stubby Holders @ $5 each to raise money to buy sleeping bags to keep Perth’s less fortunate warm during winter.”

“See you all Saturday night you won’t be disappointed.”

Nemesis 10 Fight Night is promoted on Saturday 23 May 2015 at Perth Kingsway Indoor Stadium- 130 Kingsway Rd, Madeley Doors: open 5:30, First fight starts at 6.00pm.
