Aussie Muay Thai icon headlines California’s Temecula fight night.

John Wayne Parr will fight Cosmo Alexandre in the main event of Lion Fight 25. The show is promoted on October 23, aiming to settle the score, since both athletes have a win over each other. The clash was originally meant to happen here in Australia back in 2013, however due to VISA issue Melbourne’s decider didn’t go ahead.

Parr and Alexandre had their first two fights in Australian Brisbane. John Wayne took the decision in 2007 and Cosmo made it even two years later with the TKO win. The baddest man will be pronounced at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in the city of Temecula in two months time.

This will be the first overseas challenge for JWP in 5 years. He has last fought abroad in December 2010 in China, at the event dedicated to Bruce Lee 70th Birthday Celebrations. Wayne will be also the third renowned Australian to represent Green and Gold team at Lion Fight promotion, since Michael ‘”Tomahawk” Thompson and Caley Reece have made their statements across the sea.
