The culmination of ‘the best night ever’, unfortunately, didn’t bring the highly anticipated result.
Iconic cinematic boxer Sylvester Stallone made his way back into drama with his best friend Rocky in ‘Creed’ (2015), that brought him an Oscar nomination for the ‘Best Actor in a Supporting Role’.
“But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”
The 88th annual Academy Award went ahead on Sunday 28th February at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California.
Five nominees for the best supporting actor, including Rocky, were the following: Christian Bale (The Big Short), Tom Hardy (The Revenant), Mark Ruffalo (Spotlight), Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies), Sylvester Stallone (Creed). Mark Rylance took the award.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, posted a video on his Instagram supporting his long time friend Sylvester Stallone.

Entertainment Tonight shared an ‘Oscars Upset’ video report on YouTube that features their interview on the red carpet before the show. A reporter asked Stallone to put into words what it [Oscar Nomination] means for him.
“You know how hard it is? You can only put it into feelings,” Stallone said.
“It’s so gratifying, so amazing, so life-reaffirming. And hopefully it’s an example that you never stop punching.”
Among all other winners, Oscars 2016 saw Leonardo DiCaprio finally claiming his ‘Best Actor Award’, and Spotlight took the ‘Best Picture’.
