Greece’s best heavyweight kickboxer Antonis Tzoros is taking on Wieslaw Kwasniewski from Poland on Sunday 17th April in Athens.
Antonis ‘Wrangler’ Tzoros is an internationally recognized athlete who competes across the World. Among everything in 2010 he fought Steve McKinnon at the ‘Last Man Standing’ tournament in Australian Melbourne. Last year in Greece he took on original K-1 star from Belarus Alexey Ignashov and battled the giant from Belgium Omar Bellahmar.
His next opponent is Wieslaw Kwasniewski who is coming to Greece under the patronage of Poland’s legend Cezary ‘SuperKick’ Podraza. Kwasniewski is an all around fighter who has experienced kickboxing, boxing and MMA bouts. He is a semi-finalist of Eurosport-televised ‘Bigger’s Better 21’ tournament in Bulgaria, as well as a competitor at ‘SuperKombat’ events.
Tzoros and Kwasniewski will square the differences in kickboxing super-heavyweight international championship. The clash headlines the sixteenth edition of the leading fight show in Greece ‘The Battle by WKN’.
Well-known gala by Stefanos Konstantinidis and ONE2 Promotion will also see the ‘8 man tournament’. The middleweights from all parts of Greece will come to challenge prestigious WKN crown.
“Initially, when we announced Grand Prix, we aimed to put four best fighters on the battle,” Konstantinidis says.
“But then we have received too many requests with very good athletes wanting to take part in our show,”
“So we have decided to convert the four to eight-fold.”
“The first four contenders are Anthony Arnold, Sotiris Tzivelis, Charalambos Economou and Gino Moftari,”
“We will reveal the following four shortly.”
Five national title bouts are also at stake at ‘The Battle’. We will have more on this story as it develops.
