Tomas ‘The Giant Slovak’ Mozny will make his GLORY debut on April 16 in Copenhagen, Denmark where he is fighting Turkish kickboxer Cihad Kepenek.

The WKN World Office released a three-fight deal agreement.

“Tomas Mozny aka ‘The Giant Slovak’ of Body Gym in Poprad, Slovakia will appear at ‘Glory World Series’ in 2016. The WKN World Office and GLORY Kickboxing agreed the three-fight deal to go ahead.

Trainer & official agent of Mozny, Mr Lukas Boddy has discussed the opportunities and conditions with the WKN World Office that plays the role of Mozny’s official manager. WKN World Office processed the agreement with GLORY kickboxing.

Mozny starts the venture versus Cihad Kepenek from Turkey on April 16 in Copenhagen, Denmark at Glory 29 fight night, where WKN European champion from Switzerland Yoann Kongolo (#4 welterweight contender in the world by GLORY) takes on Nieky Holzken from Netherlands.

WKN Kickboxing European champion Tomas Mozny is considered as one of the best heavyweights from Europe to conquer the World’s stage. Fighting out of ‘Body Gym’ in Poprad, Mozny is recognized as the best heavyweight kickboxer Slovakia has ever produced.”

Last February Mozny defended his WKN European title in Nitra, Slovakia. He did so by taking the heavyweight Grand Prix, that went ahead in the format of a four man tournament.

Then Mozny was scheduled to rematch Mikhail Shein in Sura, Russia. In their first encounter in Kazan, Russia last year, ‘Slovak Giant’ knocked Russian kickboxer out. The rematch did not go ahead due to the promoter of ‘Battle of Sura’ show, who has not completed his part of the financial  agreement.

In addition, the video of a spectacular spinning-back kick by Tomas ‘The Giant Slovak’ Mozny at ‘Simply The Best Poprad’ 2014 fight night hit Facebook stream and gained over a million views in a week time.
