Women's Muay Thai Bouts Hit Fight Night Perth

Two women’s muay thai flyweight bouts will feature at eleventh edition of Nemesis Fight Shows on Saturday 21st May in Perth, Australia.

Women’s muay thai has certainly become one of the essential aspects of today’s fight nights promotions. The popularity of the Art of Eight Limbs is, hands down, at its’ pick. From the top of the pedestal when models such as Gracie Carvalho shout out Muay Thai as their toughest workout, to a mechanism when the national sport of Thailand is used as an anti-violence campaign. Indeed, women practice Muay Thai with passion as well as compete inside the ring.

Nemesis 11 Fight Night Perth is not an exclusion. Moreover, it brings together four popular flyweight female muay thai-boxers. Emma Graham, Kim Townsend, Whitney Tuna and Shauna Moran will beautify a knockout event on Saturday 21st May at Kingsway Stadium in Madeley, WA.

Graham is fresh of a solid win over Kerrianne Mckay early April at Domination event. She is also a common name at Nemesis Fight Shows. Last year she faced Australia’s best Yolanda Schmidt in the WKN Australian championship. Graham is now bringing her fire to battle Kim Townsend. Experienced Townsend is quite known across the country. Among everything in March 2012 her composed performance earned her the WKN title. That was when she beat Carol Earl in Sydney. The Graham vs Townsend bout promises hard hits in a technical female muaythai war between two Western Australian leading athletes.

Tuna is a Perth-based muay thai-boxer. To date she is victorious in four out of her five bouts. Moran brings from Queensland the record of two wins with two losses and one draw. Both female muay thai fighters will go ahead in their sixth contest. The women’s muay thai interstate challenge opens the draw of WA v QLD when Nemesis 11 fight show aims to square the difference between two strongest muaythai territories in Australia.

The main event of Nemesis 11 Fight Night Perth will see Australia’s best Toby ‘The Weapon’ Smith taking on the first-string competitor from France Johane Beausejour. The main card includes five WKN title bouts. We will have more on this story as it develops.

Nemesis 11 fight night is held on Saturday 21st May 2016 at Kingsway Indoor Stadium – 130 Kingsway, Madeley WA 6065.
