Frank Giorgi came out victorious in his muaythai encounter with Harald Olsen on Friday 13th May in Perth, Australia.

Frank Giorgi aka ‘Italian Stallion’, 34, is a renowned muay thai-boxer from Gold Coast, Queensland. For over ten years he represents Australia across the Planet. Along the way he has earned two prestigious world title belts in the welterweight and middleweight categories. Among everything Giorgi is a 2011 Thai Fight participant in Bangkok, Thailand, where he beat Vuyisile Colossa and Abraham Roqueni, and faced the man himself, Buakaw Por Pramuk in the championship round. He has been twice seen as the semi-main event character at the 2012 celebrity Total Carnage fight night on the Gold Coast, Australia, defeating Tobias Alexandersson and Rhyse Saliba. In 2013 ‘Italian Stallion’ battled Aikpracha Meenayothin at Yakkao Extreme gala in Milan, Italy. Frank Giorgi is known as one of the most humble and amicable muaythai fighters from Land Down Under.

In 2015 Frank Giorgi took a devastating knockout victory over Tass Tsitsiras in Springvale, Victoria. He then had some time off until a recent venture to Perth, Western Australia where he faced local Harald Olsen. The last, as well, aimed to make a victorious comeback. The records indicate Olsen not fighting for over five years, since he beat Bruce Atkin and Jake Tolmlinson.

Frank Giorgi and Harald Olsen went ahead in the main card of Thunderdome XV fight night. A combined boxing and muaythai show was held on Friday 13 May at Metro City club in Perth, Western Australia. The scheduled for five rounds bout did not go on distance. Indeed it has been reportedly stopped due to a leg injury of Perth’s athlete.

“I was just starting to warm up, but they stopped it,” Giorgi told fightmag.com.au after the bout.

“I was just starting to get my eye in, as it’s been over seven months since my last fight,”

“But a win is a win, it was a TKO.”

“Apparently his shin was cut to the bone. I wish Harald a speedy recovery.”

In near future Frank Giorgi is expected to appear on several shows throughout Australia and across the World.
