WKN Brazil Promotes Kickboxing World Championship

Brazilian Felipe Micheletti faces Argentine Rogelio Ortiz in the WKN kickboxing world championship on Saturday, 20th August 2016 in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Eminent promoter Sergio Batarelli brings together Micheletti and Ortiz to square the differences in the WKN super cruiserweight world championship.

Micheletti and Ortiz battled in Match 2013 in Sao Caetano do Sul, Brazil. Punch to punch, kick to kick saw a skillful challenge of South American kickboxers. In the third round Micheletii landed left body shot, seeing Ortiz moving back. The referee opened an eight count. Although Ortiz seemed keen to continue, the referee terminated the challenge that resulted in a TKO victory for Micheletti.

Thus, it all comes to a logical rematch anticipated by both camps. Brazilian sets to confirm his victory and Argentine aims to prove wrong. Moreover, their up-coming challenge is for grabs of a prestigious WKN world title belt.

The event includes kickboxing 8 man tournament featuring MMA super fight. The WKN advises the release of a complete card on the event page shortly.

Furthermore, International Vale Tudo Championship (IVC) returns to the scene.

The WKN penciled the following installment of IVC in November. An 8 man MMA tournament will headline the event featuring a kickboxing super fight. More information will follow closer to the date.

The promoter of the events is Sergio Batarelli. He is a founder of the IVC. Batarelli is a former kickboxing world champion.
