Jennifer Lopez raises a sweat as she films the boxing scenes for TV show Shades of Blue on Friday, September 9, 2016 in Manhattan, NY.

Jennifer Lopez, 47, is hands down a knockout personality. The singer, actress, fashion designer and producer clearly showed she is not just a pretty faced. For the shoot at a Manhattan boxing club she appeared almost with no make up, wearing a gray tank over a black bra and black leggings. Her hair was tied back while her upper body sparkled with sweat. J. Lo was in fighting mood wearing a huge pair of boxing gloves.

Daily Mail reports that J. Lo is a producer of the NBC series Shades of Blue. She plays a single mother who is also outwardly a corrupt cop. She is a member of a Brooklyn lawmen team headed by Lt. Matt Wozniak (Ray Liotta).

However in reality it turns out that her character is an informant for the anti-corruption force unit.

“We know that certain things are wrong,” said Lopez at a Television Academy event in summer.

“But in certain situations, doing the wrong thing is the right thing.”

“It’s about that internal struggle that every single person has.”

The season two of Shade of Blue hits screens mid-season. It is due to J. Lo’s star power which was enough for the show’s renewal, despite low ratings and tough competition on other channels was one of the most time-shifted programs on television.

“We want to thank Jennifer, who is the hardest-working woman we know, for her incredible efforts as both the star and producer of this show,” said NBC’s entertainment president Jennifer Salke following the announcement of the show’s renewal.
