Frederic Kowatz is facing off Valdemar Kulda in kickboxing world championship bout at Nuit Des Defis 9 on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Caen, France.

The event tops up the bill of a busy schedule to close out 2016. Last month WKN updated the calendar with kickboxing promotions in Cyprus and Greece. The most recent gala was only 10 days ago in Slovakia. The next event is happening in Japan on October 21. Nuit Des Defis 9 in Northern France features on the upcoming three-event programme. It goes alongside Dark Fights 4 in Southern France and Simply The Best 13 Nowa Sol in Poland.

Promoter of the Nuit Des Defis 9 fight night is Wilfrid Hembert. The headliner of the show is Kowatz vs Kulda for the vacant super middleweight world title.

Frederic Kowatz (21-7) of France is going up against Valdemar Kulda (19-3) of Lithuania. The championship bout is set to crown a new super middleweight kickboxing world title holder. Kowatz is a two time champion of France in kickboxing and full contact. He is also the WKF world champion in full contact. Kulda is a 2015 Pankration world champion and Wak-1f champion. The WKN supervisor is Habib Bakir.

World Kickboxing Network (WKN) is the world’s largest, most active and prestigious kickboxing federation. It constantly updates its event calendar with the international promotions across the Globe.

In Australia the WKN currently sanctions the championship bouts at the elite Nemesis fight shows. The latest gala Nemesis 11 Perth received recognition as the best muaythai event in Australia for the first half of 2016.
