Tomasz Makowski defeats Nicola Canu and becomes the WKN kickboxing champion of the world on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Nowa Sol, Poland.

Tomasz Makowski vs Nicola Canu headlined the Simply The Best episode 13 on SFR Sport 5. Prestigious WKN super featherweight world title was for grabs. It was all or nothing for Polish star. It was the next level conquer for European champion from Italian Sardinia.

The bout went on distance. The judges unanimously proclaimed the decision in the favor of the representative of the country-host. As an ultimate result Tomasz Makowski is crowned as a new WKN kickboxing champion of the world. Consequently he returns his name on the top of the list in the weight class.

The semi-main event squared another local star Lukasz Plawecki and the international champion from Belgium Lello Perego. The pair battled out for the WKN super welterweight world title. After five rounds of action Plawecki earned a unanimous decision and became a title holder.

Also on the night Poland’s Slawomir Przypis went up against Erik Matejovsky of Slovakia. The light heavyweight international belt was at stake. Przypis earned an honorable belt. A series of local and international bouts featured on the card. Cezary Podraza supervised the gala. Former 16-time world champion Osman Yigin presented at the show.
