Nathan Corbett makes Carnage elbow seminar at Mike's Gym Amsterdam
Mike Passenier (l) and Nathan Carnage Corbett (r) at Mike's Gym / October 27, 2016, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Returning home from my third Carnage European tour for 2016 I want to share the amazing adventure all made possible by my great friend Gokhan Saki.

Not long after my return home from Europe for the Ronin Carnage Global summer camp in August, I had a call from Saki.

After 30 minute conversation he had asked about my seminars. He offered to fly me to Holland and teach a seminar at the famous Mike’s Gym in Amsterdam. A man of his word, six weeks later I was on a flight to Amsterdam for my first seminar in the land of Dutch legends.

I had only met Mike few years back very briefly. It was first time I got to properly meet him and have a long chat about kickboxing, fighting and life.

The gym is huge. Enough space to have full weight and strength areas, plus massive fight training section with lots of bags and floor space to train.

The seminar was great. Starting with kids first, then moving on to an adults class for all levels.

There was great atmosphere going on with Badr Hari preparing for his big fight with Rico. Plus about another eight fighters preparing for their local bouts.

Mike is a great guy. He gave me lots of his time and also a personal fight training session. Lots of knowledge.

After Amsterdam it was time to head off to Serbia to see my boys at Ronin Carnage Global for the week. I had fun teaching and training with all the team.

Next stop was Austria. I had a two day workshop at Gym 23 in Vienna. There I also got the chance to meet up with my good friend, also from Serbia, Nikola. I also had the pleasure to teach at my new friend’s Orlando Neto Bjj gym, under the banner of Roger Gracie.

My last stop was in the UK where I always teach at my good friend’s Dojo. This time I also got to visit a town at the bottom of the UK called Dorset. The gym is called Teep Muay Thai, cool name and a great bunch of lads.

In total it was a four week tour with lots of fun, friends and teaching, while meeting new friends along the way.

Back to Australia now and staying home on the Gold Coast for some time. I am putting time and energy into building my training business. So if you are interested in being a part of Team Carnage – book in for a personal lesson. In the new year there will also be a few classes weekly on offer.

Dream big and hit harder.

Carnage.
