The WKN kickboxing world cup 2017 is held on Friday, March 10 in Tehran, Iran.
Ten nations participate in Kickboxing World Cup that makes history for Iran. The event indeed proclaims to be the biggest gala the country has ever seen. Moreover, the hall of fame referee out of the United States, Steve Smoger officiates the championship. Chris Christodoulou of Cyprus is the supervisor of the show.
The WKN World Cup 2017 is a welterweight 8-man tournament. Prestigious WKN championship belt is for grabs.
National champion Mohammed Hossein Daroudian represents the country host. International title holder Askgar Hosejni is coming from Afghanistan. Christopher Rotin stands for Malta. Johny “Swift” Smith is fighting out of the famed ProKick Gym in Northern Ireland. Cameroon’s Eric N’Singa represents Africa. French Ilan Durand, Italian Mattia Peddio and Andreas Charitou of Cyprus conclude the fight card.
In addition two international championship bouts feature on the program. Local Sina Karimian takes on Neil Aquino of Germany. The couple will challenge for the super cruiserweight belt. Also Vahid Mahdavi faces off Slovak Denis Lamanec. The super light heavyweight title is on stake.
