The Giant Slovak Tomas Mozny faced a defeat at Glory 37 Los Angeles on January 20.

Tomas Mozny of the WKN Top Team unit in Slovakia went up against Jhonata Diniz of Brazil. The bout featured on the program of the super fights. It topped up the bill of Jason Wilnis vs Israel Adesanya for the middleweight title.

Mozny vs Diniz went on distance although Brazilian kept in under control. He also scored an eight count in the first round, as a result, earning a unanimous decision (30-26, 29-27, 29-27).

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” Mozny posted on his Facebook page the day after. “This is the only rule in this game.”

“I am not going to write any excuses. I got beaten and this is it.”

“Big respect to my opponent. He really throw the bombs, probably the hardest [punches] I’ve ever taken.”

In addition, Mozny also showed gratitude to his fans and sponsors. In conclusion he looked in the near future.

“Thank you everyone who gave me thumbs up, without you I wouldn’t be there.”

“Now if I want to continue in kickboxing on such a global level, I have to work and improve myself a lot. I have my flaws.”
