Kickboxing 8 woman tournament Girl Power II airs live on SFR Sport 5 on Friday February 10.

Girl Power II starts a new chapter of TV shows produced by Bigger’s Better on SFR Sport 5. From 2010-2013 the organization has held three seasons of boxing series live on Eurosport. The debut of the Girl Power edition aired live on PPV in 2014.

The upcoming event on February 10 continues the original concept of the knockout tournament. Eight international athletes battle out in one night competition. The names of the Girl Power II participants have been revealed last week.

On Tuesday, the backbone of the promotion, World Kickboxing Network released the detailed information on the first four fighters, Judit Laura Foldvari, Zorka Stojanovic, Laura Follereau and Mallaury Kalachnikoff. The next day, the fifth contender Luba Littau made the headline. The WKN now provides the tale of the tape of the rest of the fighters on the card, and consequently completes the introduction.

Two challengers out of Belgium, Nathalie Visshers and Ilham Gramal participate in the tournament. Visshers, 26, is a national champion in muaythai as well as the WK1 world title belt holder. Fighting out of the Bulldogs Antwerpen under the patronage of Daniella Somers she is victorious in 54 out 72 bouts. Gramal, 21, coached by Nathalie Toro, represents the Phoenix Gym. She is undefeated in six professional bouts, with two challenges going into a draw.

In conclusion, Iliana Metodieva Gelebova (2-2-1) represents Bulgaria, the country-host of the Girl Power II. Trained by Nikolay Atanasov, the 29-year-old is fighting out of the Samurai gym in Burgas.

The fast paced bouts are of the 3 x 2 minute rounds with 1 minute break. An extra round applies in case of a draw in the finale. Kickboxing oriental rules are in place with the allowance of the spinning back fist.

Steve Smoger, Hall of Fame referee out of the Atlantic City officiates the bouts.
