Female muaythai bout Yolanda Schmidt vs Plyfah Sor Nittaya goes ahead on Saturday January 28 in Hui Hin, Thailand.

Yolanda Schmidt vs Plyfah Sor Nittaya is a rematch. Australia’s female muaythai first string takes on the current elite out of Thailand. Their original challenge featured on the 12-fight program last August in Bangkok.

Schmidt is a multiple champion of Australia. Plyfah is a newly titled champion of Isan, the northeastern region of Thailand.

The upcoming match is a co-headliner at the Women’s Fight world championship event. The gala held at True Arena airs live on Channel 28 as well as on Pay-Per-View on Channel 3 SD. The weigh-ins ceremony was held yesterday.

“Weigh in done and dusted, refueled and almost ready to rest. Big day tomorrow for this little girl,” Schmidt captioned one of the post weigh-in photographs on her Instagram.

The international prestige fight Schmidt vs Plyfah will go ahead at 5 x 3 minute rounds in the 56 kg weight division. Lisa Brierley (England) vs Ticha Kor Adison (Thailand) for the WMC 54 kg world title headlines the event. A series of international and rating bouts also feature on the fight card.
