Plyfah Sor Nittaya defeats Yolanda Schmidt on Saturday January 28 in Hui Hin, Thailand.

Plyfah Sor Nittaya vs Yolanda Schmidt was the second encounter between the current top name in Thailand and the first string out of Australia. Their original bout went ahead last August in Bangkok with the victorious outcome for the guest from Sydney.

The Plyfah vs Schmidt rematch featured on the card at the Women’s Fight world championship event. The show held at True Arena aired live on Channel 28.

The 56 kg female muaythai challenge went on distance. After five rounds of action the representative of the country host earned a decision.

“I was winning,” Schmidt said despite the verdict from the judges.

At the end of the fifth round Thai fighter landed three kicks. The last one in the eyes of Australian was instrumental in the ultimate outcome.

“Lost with the last bloody kick that she got as the bell went.”

Ultimately both athletes have a win one over another, which may result in the decider fight.
