Matej Penaz defeats Kevin Botz on Friday March 10 in Brno.

Czech fighter Matej Penaz was looking forward to square off with Dano Hromek of Slovakia. However a highly anticipated bout fell off due to an injury of the latter. Nevertheless an opposition in the face off Kevin Botz of Germany issued the challenge.

The Matej Penaz vs Kevin Botz title fight featured on the card at Fusion Fight Night 11. Prestigious WKN championship belt was on the line. The scheduled for five rounds contest ended prior the final bell. The local competitor earned the first round knockout victory. As a result he claimed the belt and became a new light heavyweight muaythai champion of Europe.

Promoter of the match was Petr Lamac. He is the man guilty for the series of “Simply The Best” kickboxing in Czech Republic. The next episode, STB 14 Prague starts the third season on European television network SFR Sport 5. The Top Hotel accommodates the gala on April 29.

Simply The Best 14 Prague fight card has not yet been revealed. Earlier on the week the WKN posted an image on its profile on Instagram that shows two top heavyweight kickboxers. Ondrej Hutnik and Petr Vondracek might appear on the program. We will have more information as soon as it become available.
