Sports Illustrated model Mia Kang prepares for her muaythai fight in Koh Samui

Sports Illustrated model Mia Kang is highly anticipated to make a debut in the Art of Eight Limbs.

Mia Kang continues her adventure in the world of muaythai. Originally, the 28-year-old model out of Hong Kong made headlines last year. That was in August, when she KO’d the SI Swimsuit Model Search. In addition, her passion for throwing kicks, punches, knees and elbows was revealed to mass.

As of March numerous media report about the upcoming bout of Mia Kang. A real muaythai encounter inside the boxing ring. She is arguably the first female known for beauty, who partakes in such contest.

In comparison, the Hollywood actor out of the United Kingdom, Idris Elba has indeed reached one of his goals and turned kickboxer in twelve months. His journey is a series on Discovery channel UK “Idris Elba: Fighter”, that started in January. Sports Illustrated is reportedly trailing Kang for a digital documentary.

The date and and the name of the opponent for Kang has not yet been announced. However she is noted at training in Thailand. April – May is the expected time of the actual bout.

In addition, on Wednesday Mia Kang posted a new video on her profile on Instagram. The clip shows her at training, hitting pads. She performs a combo that comprises the left body shot, left hook and right elbow. She follows it up with the right kick.

“Pads with my favorite trainer Firstt Yodyut. See you soon,” she captioned.

Yodyut Muaythai is a training centre in Koh Samui. This is where Chaweng Stadium accommodates the bouts with the local and international competitors featuring on the cards.
