The 12-fight bill at UFC 211 Miocic vs Dos Santos was held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The five-fight main card aired live on Pay-Per-view, following the four-fight prelim card on FX and three bouts on UFC Fight Pass. Two UFC titles were challenged during the evening.

The main event was the contest for the UFC heavyweight title. The defending champion Stipe Miocic of the US squared off with a former title holder and ranked No.4 Junior Dos Santos of Brazil. The five-round bout was also their second encounter. In the original contest in 2014 the Brazilian fighter earned a decision.

Miocic vs Dos Santos 2 ended prior the final bell. The American fighter earned the TKO victory in Round 1 with punches. As a result he has made the second title defense as well as taken the revenge.

In the second title clash, Joanna Jedrzejczyk of Poland defeated Jessica Andrade of Brazil by a unanimous decision. Poland’s star made her fifth consecutive defense of the UFC women’s strawweight belt.

Also on the main card Demian Maia defeated Jorge Masvidal by split decision. As well, Frankie Edgar defeated Yair Rodriguez by TKO in Round 2. David Branch took a split decision against Krzystof Jotko.
