Kickboxing promotion Kunlun Fight returns to Thailand.

Kunlun Fight 62 is held on Saturday June 10 in Bangkok. The event is the fifth show organized by Chinese kickboxing promotion in Thailand. The program comprises a large bill with some of the most notable muaythai fighters and kickboxers of today.

Famed Buakaw Banchamek battles out in the main event, taking on Kong Lingfeng of China. Also, in one of the highlight matches featured on the card, Superbon Banchmek takes on Artem Pashporin of Russia. In addition, in one of the super fights Belarusian Vitaly Gurkov goes up against Nurla Mulali of China. The program also comprises the 70 kg tournament semi-finals.

Another highly anticipated bout is a challenge between Yodwicha Khemmuaythaigym (formerly Por Boonsit) (157-52-3) of Thailand and Dzianis Zuev (18-9) of Belarus. The pair meets in the three-round super fight at welterweight.

Yodwicha is one of the first strings out of Thailand. Lumpinee and Omnoi stadiums champion has defeated “The King of Muay Thai” himself, Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym. Yodwicha currently rides a seven-fight winning streak with the victories claimed against French Azize Hlali and Jimmy Vienot, his country-fellow Sorgraw Petchyindee and Brad Stanton of England, among others.

Zuev is an active competitor out of Top 3 countries in Muay Thai, Belarus. Over the years he earned the victories against Thai fighters Nonsai Sor Sanyakorn, Armin Pumpanmuang and Arthit Hanchana. He has also defeated Dzhabar Askerov of Russia and Victor Nagbe of Australia. In addition Zuev went up against Yodsanklai Fairtex, although facing a defeat. His most recent bout was in April when he took the Round 3 TKO victory against Liu Lei in China.
