Rebuy Stars Fight Night brings international kickboxing to Kosice.
International kickboxing returns to Slovakia this Saturday June 3. The event features the local stars up against European selection.
In the main event Tomas Mozny takes on Alen Kapetanovic. “Slovakian Giant” returns to action in the three-round WKN International prestige bout against a prominent Czech fighter.
In addition, two World Kickboxing Network titles will be challenged during the evening. As well, the program comprises a series of super fights.
In one of the title bouts, Samuel Hadzima squares off against Lukas Mandinec. The contest is for the WKN Slovakian lightweight championship.
Samuel Hadzima is a notable competitor out of Slovakia, representing Body Gym. Among everything he was a contender for the WKN World super lightweight title against Kamel Jebir at Full Contact Nice in April. He has as well headlined Simply The Best 6 Poprad going up against Chan Hyeong Lee of Korea.
Fighting out of Victory Gym in Tencin, Lukas Mandinec is the second challenger for the National belt. He is an active athlete who appeared at numerous shows including a renowned Poland’s gala “Makowski Fighting Championship”. Mandinec battled out against such names as Paul Budden, Maciej Zembik, Marko Novak, among others.
The “Rebuy Stars Fight Night” also showcases the representative of the country-host Vladimir Konsky face off Kevin Maertens of France for the WKN International super welterweight title. As well, Slovak Vladimir Idrany meets Petros Vardakas of Greece at light heavyweight. In addition his country-fellow Pavol Garaj takes on David van Branteghem of Belgium at super welterweight. MMA fighters Radovan Estocin and Alexandr Cverna reportedly take part in the event.
Promoters of “Rebuy Stars Fight Night” are Lukas Bodyy and Petr Lamac, known for their production of kickboxing series “Simply The Best”. An official weigh-ins ceremony will be conducted on Friday. The event is streamed live on YouTube.
