Tomas Mozny defeats Alen Kapetanovic at kickboxing gala Rebuy Stars.
International promotion “Rebuy Stars Fight Night” was held on Saturday June 3 in Kosice. The event was a nine-fight bill with Slovakian athletes up against competitors out of numerous European countries. The program comprised five kickboxing, two boxing and two MMA bouts. In addition, two World Kickboxing Network titles were challenged during the evening. The show was streamed live on YouTube.
In the main event Tomas Mozny squared off against Alen Kapetanovic of Czech. After three rounds of K-1 kickboxing “Slovakian Giant” earned a unanimous decision. As a result he made a victorious come back, that follows his defeat against Brazilian Jhonata Diniz at Glory 37 Los Angeles earlier this year.
In one of the championship bouts Vladimir Konsky went up against Conan Saelens of Belgium. The three-round contest was for the WKN International super welterweight title. The representative of the country-host came out victorious.
In the second title fight Samuel Hadzima and Lukas Mandinec battled out for the national belt. Hadzima earned a decision and was crowned as a new WKN Slovakian lightweight champion.
In addition, Vladimir Idrany defeated Petros Vardakas of Greece by decision. Pavol Garaj stopped David van Branteghem of Belgium in the first round.
The Rebuy Stars Fight Night was presented by Lukas Bodyy of Slovakia and Petr Lamac of Czech. Both are well-known event makers for the production of kickboxing series Simply The Best in their countries.
