The event is a 12-fight bill. The main card comprises six bouts on Fox Sports 1. The preliminary card is a four-bout program also on FS1. The early prelims streamed on UFC Fight Night feature two bouts.
In the main event New Zealand-born, residing in Australia Mark Hunt battles out against Derrick Lewis of the US. At the official weigh-ins ceremony conducted on Saturday, “The Super Samoan” showed 265 pounds. “The Black Beast” showed the same.
The second bout from the top is a middleweight clash between Derek Brunson of the US and Dan Kelly of Australia. Both athletes weighed-in at 186.
Also on the main card Ion Cutelaba of Moldova (204) up against Luis Henrique da Silva of Brazil (206). Daniel Hooker of New Zealand (156) takes on Ross Pearson of England (155). As well, Tim Elliott of the US (126) faces off Aussie-American Ben Nguyen (126) and Alex Volkanovski (145) goes up against Mizuto Hirota (146) of Japan.
Korean Chan-Mi Jeon, who took a short notice bout against American JJ Aldrich replacing replacing Nadia Kassem of Australia, was two pounds heavier. As a result a previously expected women’s strawweight challenge will proceed as a catch-weight.
