UFC 215 is held on Saturday September 9 at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

UFC 215 is the second promotion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship in Canada this year. The main card airs on Pay-Per-View following the preliminary program on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Junior Dos Santos (18–5) of Brazil squares off against Francis Ngannou (10–1) of France in the heavyweight bout, the promotion announced on Wednesday.

In the most recent bout Dos Santos went up against Stipe Miocic of the US for the UFC heavyweight championship. The bout headlined UFC 211 with American fighter earning the victory via TKO in the first round.

Brazilian is currently ranked No. 4 in the division. A former champion holds victories against such names as Alistair Overeem, Mark Hunt, Frank Mir, among others.

Ngannou is riding a nine-fight winning streak since 2014. His most recent victory was against Belarusian Andrei Arlovski in January, when he claimed the first-round TKO win at UFC on FOX. The Frenchman has also previously defeated Anthony Hamilton, Curtis Blaydes and others.

In addition, it was announced that a light heavyweight veteran out of Sweden Ilir Latifi (12-5, 1NC) takes on 6-fight undefeated Australian Tyson Pedro. The main for UFC 215 has not yet been announced. The list of the revealed match ups to date can be found below.
