International kickboxing returns to Czech Republic with Yangames Fight Night on July 27.
Yangames Fight Night is the following edition of the WKN championship events promoted in Czech Republic. The event is the second show held in the country this year. It follows kickboxing series Simply The Best 14 Prague presented in April.
In the main event renowned Czech Ondrej Hutnik faces off Sergej Maslobojev of Lithuania. The contest is for the WKN European heavyweight title. The second bout from the top is a super heavyweight clash between Czech Petr Vondracek and Swedish-Iranian Tofan Piran. The challenge is for the WKN International belt.
The promoter of the show is Petr Lamac. The championship supervisor is Lukas Body of Slovakia, representing the World Kickboxing Network.
On Thursday the organization announced the rest of the card. It comprises two more heavyweight bouts as well as an eight-man knockout tournament.
In one of the bouts the K-1 kickboxing veteran Tomas Hron squares off against Ukrainian-Belarus Roman Kryklia. As well, Czech heavyweight Daniel Skvor takes on Yuriy Sarazhan also representing Ukraine.
The eight-man tournament features international competitors out of Germany, Italy, Romania, Russia and more. The roster comprises Michal Reissinger, Gordon Haupt, Mikhail Tuterev, among others. Seven fighters have been confirmed to battle out on the night, with one spot remaining to be filled in. The announced to date program can be found below.
