Yangames Fight Night: Two WKN titles at stake.
International kickboxing returns to Czech Republic on Thursday July 27. Yangames Fight Night is the second event for the year, following Simply The Best 14 Prague held in April.
The program showcases Czech fighters as well as the athletes out of Germany, Italy, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia and Romania. Two WKN titles will be contested on the night.
The main event is a challenge for the WKN European heavyweight title between Czech Ondrej Hutnik and Sergej Maslobojev of Lithuania. The co-main event is a super heavyweight clash for the WKN International belt featuring Czech Petr Vondracek and Neil Aquino of Germany. The latter is a replacement for Swedish-Iranian Tofan Pirani who was forced to pull out due to sickness, World Kickboxing Network announced on Monday.
The organization has also completed the roster of the eight-man heavyweight tournament. Representing Greece Anastasios Karagiannidis takes part in the knockout contest. In addition a super featherweight battle was announced featuring juniors David Kubat and Erik Micka.
The fight card also includes two previously announced super heavyweight bouts. Tomas Hron faces off Roman Kryklia. Daniel Skvor takes on Yuriy Sarazhan.
The promoter of the event is Petr Lamac. The coordinator is Lukas Bodyy.
The official weigh-in ceremony as well as the tournament draw are scheduled for Wednesday. A complete fight card can be found below.
