Caged Muay Thai 10 was held on Friday August 4 in Brisbane. The program composed twelve bouts featuring Australian and international fighters. The event held at Logan Metro Sports Centre was streamed on Cleeng PPV.
In the main-event Australian John Wayne Parr defeated James Heelan of Ireland. Winning via a unanimous decision “The Gunslinger” defended his Caged Muay Thai middleweight belt.
“The winner, buuuuuut, more stitches”, Parr captioned a post-fight video shared on Facebook. “Was a fun fight. Was hard to see once the warm sticky blood was dripping in my eye. The more I wiped it, the more it blurred my vision. All part of the job though.”
The co-main event was a CMT lightweight championship between the defending champion Thai-Australian Ghot Seur-Noi and the guest out of New Zealand Chris Wells. The latter took the victory via the second-round TKO. As a result Wells became a new title holder.
Also on the night Sean Clancy stopped Matthew Bune in the fourth round. As well Branton Termine scored a unanimous decision against Callum Nadin-Mason. Complete results can be found below.
