UFC Fight Night 121: Mark Hunt vs Marcin Tybura

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Australia on November 18. An upcoming event is UFC Fight Night 121 held at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. The event airs on Fox Sports 1. The main event is a heavyweight bout featuring Kiwi-Australian Mark Hunt (13-11-1, 1NC) up against Marcin Tybura (16-2-0) of Poland.

MMAjunkie got the confirmation from UFC officials, in follow-up to Polish website Lowking which was the first to indicate the match. A formal announcement from the promotion is expected next week.

Hunt is victorious in his most recent bout against American Derrick Lewis, winning via the fourth-round TKO at UFC Auckland fight night held in June. Before that, in March he faced the third-round stoppage against Alistair Overeem at UFC 209 in Las Vegas. “The Super Samoan” is currently ranked No. 6 in the division.

His opponent, Tybura is coming out of three victories claimed against Belarusian Andrei Arlovski, Brazilian Luis Henrique and Czech Viktor Pesta. Ranked No. 10 in the division, his latest to date bout was also in June at UFC Singapore.

In addition, MMAmania reports that one more bout featured on the card has been revealed. The contest is a heavyweight battle between Australian Tai Tuivasa (5-0), who is making his UFC debut, and American Rashad Coulter (8-2-0).

Other bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. In summary the current program for UFC Fight Night 121 in Sydney looks as the following:
