All Star Fight: Buakaw Banchamek vs Azize Hlali

Famed Muay Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek battles out against Azize Hlali of France this Sunday August 20. The bout headlines the ‘All Star Fight’ event held at Workpoint Entertainment Studio in Bangkok.

The program comprises eight bouts with local and international competitors. The show stars at 9 pm (local time) live on TV.

Buakaw Banchamek (229-23-12, 68 KO) is expected to fight under the full Muay Thai rules. This will be the first time since last December when he defeated Belarusian Andrei Kulebin in Lebanon.

Two of his most recent bouts were in kickboxing at the Kunlun Fight promotions held in Thailand and China. He is also scheduled to appear in Paris this November against an opponent yet to be named.

Azize Hlali (91-12-1) is victorious in two of the latest bouts against his French-fellow Morgan Adar and Thai Noppakit. He has also previously fought such names as Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym, Singmanee Kaewsamrit and Fabio Pinca.

On Tuesday the promotion posted an event trailer on its page on Facebook. The clip features a highlight of Buakaw, as well as other prominent Muay Thai fighters that are expected at the upcoming show.

An official weigh-in ceremony is held on Saturday at 10 am at Pathumwan Princess Hotel. It is followed by a press conference scheduled at 11.30. A complete fight card can be found below.
