Brcko Fight Night 5 results
MMA made its return to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday August 20 with Brcko Fight Night 5 promoted by Borislav Vujanovic. The event held at Blatusa Stadium presented a 13-fight international bill, featuring male and female competitors.
Women’s super flyweight battle headlined the show. The representative of the country-host Zorka Stojanovic faced off the guest out of Croatia Nikolina Katic. The pair challenged for the WKN International title.
The contest ended in the third round, proclaiming Stojanovic as a winner by TKO. As a result she earned the belt, as well as updated her pro MMA record to 3-1. In addition, over the course of her career Bosnian fighter has twice taken part in the women’s kickboxing tournament “Girl Power”, battling out in Stara Zagora and Sunny Beach.
The co-main event at Brcko Fight Night 5 was an international challenge between Danijel Kokora of Serbia and Luka Sumic of Croatia. The bout ended in favor of the latter.
Also on the night Mico Ruzicic earned the victory via the first-round stoppage against Nemanja Kukic. As well, Cvijetin Vujanovic defeated Drazen Dragoljevic in a junior kickboxing bout that was featured in the undercard.
Brcko Fight Night 5 was the following Mixed Martial Arts promotion contributed by the World Kickboxing Network. The pioneer-organization of MMA in Europe, via the International Vale Tudo Championship, continues the development of its MMA affiliate launched last December.
