Glory 44 Chicago – weigh-in results, video

Glory 44 is held on Friday August 25 at Sears Centre Arena in Chicago. The promotion is the fourth event in the city, producing an eleven-fight bill. Two championship belts will be contested on the night.

The program comprises two chapters. Glory 44 Chicago airs on ESPN 3 following Glory 44 Super Fight Series streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event at Glory 44 Chicago the reigning welterweight champion Cedric Doumbe of France faces off Murthel Groenhart of Holland. At the weigh-in ceremony conducted on Thursday, the current title holder weighed-in at 76.7 kg. The challenger showed 76.4 kg.

In the main event at Glory 44 Super Fight Series American Tiffany van Soest takes on Meryem Uslu of Germany in defense of the super bantamweight title. The latter took the fight on a short notice replacing Funda Alkayis of Turkry who withdrew from the contest. Van Soest stepped on the scales at 54.9 kg. Her opponent was 54.5 kg.
