Glory 45 Amsterdam: Nabiev vs Holzken

Glory Kickboxing returns to Holland with its 45th promotion held on September 30. The event comprises two chapters with Glory 45 Amsterdam live on TV, that follows Glory 45 Super Fight Series streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

On Monday the organization announced a change in the fight card. Azerbaijani-Russian-Ukrainian Alim Nabiev (45-6, 21 KOs) replaces Swiss Yoann Kongolo in a welterweight kickboxing bout against Dutch (90-13, 46 KOs)

Nabiev is coming out of three victories claimed against Chinese Zhang Yang, French Yohan Lidon and Czech Vladimir Moravcik. His most recent fight was at Kunlun Fight 63 in June where he scored a decision. The bout against Holzken is his debut in Glory World Series.

Holzken is a former Glory welterweight title holder, who has held the longest reign. His two latest bouts were against French Cedric Doumbe. Holzken lost both fights by split decision.

Doumbe is as well a former champion in the division. He faced a split decision defeat against Murthel Groenhart last Friday in Chicago.
