UFC 215 fight card

UFC 215 takes it place on Saturday September 9 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada. The event is a twelve-fight bill with two championships contested on the night. The main card airs on Pay-Per-View following a preliminary program on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event the reigning flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson (26-2-1) faces his American-fellow Ray “The Tazmexican Devil” Borg (11-2-0). The co-main event is a women’s bantamweight championship between the current title holder out of Brazil Amanda Nunes (14-4) and the No.1 contender out of Kyrgyzstan Valentina Shevchenko (14-2).

The event previously expected to feature a heavyweight clash between French Francis Ngannou (10–1) and a former champion in the division Brazilian Junior Dos Santos (18–5). However in August the contest fell off when it was announced that the latter was pulled from the card after being notified by USADA of a potential doping violation.

The promotion tried but was unable to find a replacement for the Frenchman. As a result he was officially pulled from the card. The updated UFC 215 fight card as well as the order of the bouts can be found below.
