All Star Fight 2 – Thai culture has a name

All Star Fight 2 is held on Saturday September 30 in Bangkok. Muay Thai event is the following edition of a new promotion presented by famed Buakaw Banchamek with the tagline “Thai culture has a name”.

The first show was held at Workpoint Entertainment Studio in August, producing a nine-fight televised bill. The main event featured Buakaw up against French competitor Azize Hlali in the contest ending by way of knockout in the first round.

Although no match ups have been announced to date, on Wednesday the promotion released a teaser trailer for the upcoming show. The clip shows the highlight moments of the inaugural event. Sammy Banchamek, Pakorn PK Saenchai, Manachai Yokkaosaenchaigym, among others, appear in the video.

It is also unclear whether Buakaw Banchamek will fight at the event. According to Banchamek Gym page on Facebook, on the 6th and 17th of September he visits France and Luxembourg where he hosts the seminars. Buakaw is also expected to headline Kunlun Fight Paris on November 11.

Buakaw Banchamek (230-23-12, 69 KO) is riding a four-fight winning streak since last December. He claimed the victories against Belarusian Andrei Kulebin, Chinese Tian Xin and Kong Lingfeng, and the most recent Azize Hlali of France. The name of his next opponent is yet to be announced. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
