Yokkao 25: Singdam gets KO’d with spinning back kick

Muay Thai promotion Yokkao 25-26 was held on Monday September 11 in Hong Kong. The event produced a 12-fight bill featuring some of the most notable Thai fighters up against international opponents. The show held at the Rotunda Hall 2 of Kitec was streamed live on Facebook.

In the main event at Yokkao 26 famed Saenchai faced off Spanish competitor Jonathan Fabian. The three-round lightweight bout went the distance. The verdict from judges proclaimed a former four-weight classes Lumpinee Stadium champion as a winner via a unanimous decision. As a result Saenchai updated his winning streak, he has been riding since 2014, to 31 bouts.

The next fight of Saenchai is booked for September 30, when he travels to Barcelona to headline a debut of the “Thai Fight” promotion in Spain. Making the third appearance in Europe this year, “The King of Muay Thai” takes on local Juan Palermo.

In the main event at Yokkao 25 renowned Thai Singdam went up against Russian Kazbek Kabulov. The scheduled for three rounds super lightweight bout ended prior the final bell. In the first round the guest out of Russia performed a devastating spinning back kick to the face, declaring his victory by way of knockout.

Among other results, Manachai took the decision against Carlos Araya. Yodchai stopped Ng King Chung in the second round.
