Glory 45 Amsterdam: Hesdy Gerges vs. Mladen Brestovac

Glory 45 fight card change

Kickboxing event Glory 45 is held on September 30 in Amsterdam. The event comprises two chapters with the main card televised on ESPN3, following the Super Fight Series program on UFC Fight Pass.

Late last month the organisation announced a change in the card with a new-comer Alim Nabiev replacing Yoann Kongolo in the welterweight fight against Nieky Holzken, which was expected to serve as a co-main event at Glory 45 Amsterdam.

However the bout has been removed from the program when Holzken suffered injury at training, and a new opponent for Nabiev has not been found. The latter is expected to make his debut in Glory Kickboxing at a future event.

As a result the promotion replaced the co-main event at Glory 45 Amsterdam with a heavyweight bout between Dutch Hesdy Gerges and Croatian Mladen Brestovac. It was previously scheduled to headline Glory 45 Super Fight Series.

Full filling the card, a catch-weight bout at 73 kg between Dutch Kevin Hessling and Bulgarian Stoyan Koprivlenski serves as the evening’s opening bout. The updated fight cards can be found below.
