Cathy McAleer returns to action on November 19, taking on Italian Chiara Vincis in Genoa.

Last month “Karate Queen” out of Belfast Cathy McAleer traveled to France, where she went up against Amel Dehby in a three-round women’s bantamweight contest. The bout, taken on a short notice as a replacement for German Meryem Uslu, went the distance. The representative of the country-host was proclaimed as the winner by decision.

Before that the protegee of Billy Murray at ProKick Gym, McAleer was already booked to partake in kickboxing series Girl Power 4 Varna happening next Friday. However the clash with the French star Dehby forced her to withdraw due to injury.

Nevertheless, a newly arranged bout in Italian Genoa on November 19 gives McAleer more time to recover, as well as a new opportunity to step back on the winning track. Over the course of her career she earned WKN World bantamweight title in Full Contact. Her also resume includes the victories against such opponents as Maltese Kylie Cocker, German Fabienne Erdas, American Ariana Siegel, England’s Dani Hodges, among others.

Her next opponent is Italian Chiara Vincis (18-11-1). She is former ISKA world champion, as well as silver medalist at European Savate Championships. Vincis is known for her bouts against the likes of Donatella Panu, Perla Bragagnolo, Nhaed Karky, Sara Surrel.

Cathy McAleer vs Chiara Vincis is a three-round international bout in K-1 kickboxing at catchweight (56 kg).
