World GBC Tour 12 results

Kickboxing World Championship returned to French city Mazan on Saturday October 14. Held at at La Boiserie, World GBC Tour 12 produced an international fight bill with two WKN World titles challenged on the night.

French Eddy Nait Slimani took on Korean Dong Su Kim, battling out for a vacant World Kickboxing Network super lightweight title. The scheduled for five rounds bout ended prior the final bell. The local fighter stopped his opponent in the first round, consequently earning a prestigious belt.

Also on the night French Bruce Codron faced Russian-Austrian Ruslan Tokhtarov, making the second defense of WKN World welterweight title. Codron won the belt against Denmark’s Mohamed El-Mir, and defended against Estonian Mirkko Moisar.

The five-round Codron vs Tokhtarov bout went the distance. The representative of the country host was proclaimed as the winner by decision.

The program of the event also included a four-man super lightweight tournament as well as a series of international bouts.

World GBC Tour 12 was promoted by David Blanc. The championship supervisor was Habib Bakir.
