Light heavyweight Ovince Saint Preux takes on his American-fellow Corey Anderson at the upcoming UFC 217 Bisping vs St-Pierre on Saturday November 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Saint Preux is a replacement for Patrick Cummins, who has recently announced that he was forced to pull out from the fight due to infection in his foot.

UFC made an announcement on Twitter with the “Fight News update!! Ovince VON FLUE replaces Cummins, will take on Corey Anderson at #UFC217 @TheGarden!”.

The 34-year-old Ovince Saint Preux (21-10) is riding a two-fight winning streak with the most recent victory earned via the first-round submission (Von Flue choke) against Japanese Yishin Okami last month in Saitama. In April he similarly defeated Brazilian Marcos Rogerio de Lima in the second round in Nashville.

UFC 217 features three championship bouts. In the main event the reigning middleweight champion England’s Michael Bisping defends the title against MMA great out of Canada Georges St-Pierre.

Also on the card the all-American bantamweight championship between the current title holder Cody Garbrandt and the challenger T.J. Dillashaw. In addition Poland’s Joanna Jedrzejczyk takes on ranked No.3 American Rose Namajunas in defense of the women’s strawweight belt.
