UFC Sydney Fight Night (UFC Fight Night 121) takes place at the Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday November 19. The event airs live on FS 6, Edge and Fight Pass.

The fight card of the upcoming show has suffered another change. MMA Junkie reported on Wednesday that Peruvian Humberto Bandenay was forced to pull out from the featherweight bout against Australian Alex Volkanovski, due to injury. MMA Fighting provided the details on Thursday, revealing that it was a fractured right wrist that didn’t allow Bandenay to step inside the UFC octagon for the second time.

Bandenay was a replacement for Canadian Jeremy Kennedy. The UFC is currently looking for the second replacement opponent for Volkanovski.

UFC Fight Night 121 is headlined by Brazilian heavyweight Fabricio Werdum up against Poland’s Marcin Tybura. Also on the card Bec Rawlings takes on Jessica-Rose Clark in all-Australian women’s flyweight bout.
