The Battle 17: Kickboxing, Boxing & MMA

The Battle 17 takes place at Taekwondo Olympic Arena in Athens on Sunday December 10. The event is the next edition of the world-class promotion by Stefanos Konstantinidis, featuring the leading representatives of the country-host up against international opponents. The program includes a series of kickboxing, boxing and MMA bouts with WKN titles challenged on the night.

Among the bouts, Greek middleweight Dimitris Xerikos makes his second appearance at “The Battle”, facing off an opponent yet to be named. He made his professional boxing debut in April last year in Athens, where he defeated Serbian Milan Osadkovski by the third-round TKO.

Greek middleweight Mixed Martial Artist Andreas Michailidis headlines The Battle 17, challenging for WKN International belt. The name of his opponent is yet to be announced.

Also on the card Greek Meletis Kakoumpavas goes up against Slovakian Pavol Garaj in a three-round contest at super welterweight. The roster also includes Sofia Karga, Petros Vardakas, among others.

The match ups are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The current line up can be found below.
