Caged Muay Thai 10
Australian John Wayne Parr and Irish James Heelan squared off in the headliner at CMT 10, held on August 4 in Brisbane. The event streamed on Cleeng PPV was the following edition of the hybrid sport featuring Muay Thai rules in the octagon, where the fighters battle out in the MMA gloves.
The five-round contest for the middleweight title went the distance. The defending champion, representing the country-host, was proclaimed as the winner by decision, consequently keeping the belt.
A few days after the event the promotion shared the highlight of the show. Last Friday Caged Muay Thai 10 aired on Australian TV networks. On Saturday Parr uploaded the footage on YouTube, as well as shared the link on his Facebook fan page the day after.
“Excited to finally share my full fight on CMT 10,” Parr wrote in the caption. “This is the fight that my opponent thought he clearly won and was robbed. Feel free to score the rounds and give your opinion as to who you think won.”
In his next outing John Wayne Parr faces Italian Piergiulio Paolucci. The pair battles out at Bellator Kickboxing 8 held on December 9 in Florence, Italy.
