Australian Jeff Horn (17-0-1) faces England’s Gary Corcoran (17-1-0) in defense of WBO World welterweight title on Wednesday December 13. The pair headlines Battle of Brisbane 2 held at Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Horn claimed the title from Filipino great Manny Pacquiao, scoring a unanimous decision at Suncorp Stadium in July. The pair was scheduled to meet in the rematch this year, but the bout didn’t go ahead and is expected in 2018.

The undercard for the upcoming show is currently in makes. Several names expected to appear at the event have been revealed.

According to Boxrec.com, Australian super featherweight Paul Fleming (24-0-0) takes on Vergil Puton (17-8-0) of Philippines. Also on the card, the featherweight representative of the country-host Nathaniel May (18-1-0) goes up against Aelio Mesquita of Brazil. The latter currently holds the 16-fight undefeated record.

In addition heavyweight Alex Leapai (31-7-3), super bantamweight Shannon O’Connell (15-6-1) and super middleweight Rohan Murdock (20-1-0) are included in the roster. The names of their opponents and other match ups are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The current line-up can be found below.
